Here you will find various instructions that may be needed to use the Program Portal and Region Uppsala’s systems.
- Cosmic does not support Swedish characters in the computer name (å, ä, ö). If this applies, change the computer name on the local device.

Cosmic
Specific instructions for Cosmic users

Tips and advice
If you are asked every time you start an app in the portal whether you want to start “Citrix Workspace Launcher” or “Citrix Receiver Launcher”, follow these steps to remove the prompt.
- Log in to the StoreFront website (https://portal.regionuppsala.se) and click Cancel when the “Open Citrix Workspace Launcher” dialog appears.
- Click the small arrow next to your name in the browser.
- Select Install Citrix Receiver and choose “Detect receiver”.
- Click Cancel again in the “Citrix Workspace Launcher” dialog, accept the license and choose “Already installed”.
- Go back to your apps and start one of them.
- This downloads the ICA file. Click the arrow/dots next to it and choose to always open files of this type.
- Then open the file or start the application again.
