Technical requirements
Here you will find the most important requirements and settings needed to use the Program Portal and Region Uppsala’s systems.
We recommend and perform testing with several browsers and operating systems for access to Region Uppsala’s external services; other combinations may also work. For support regarding client settings according to the technical requirements, please contact your own PC supplier’s support or your local IT support. ITA IT Support provides telephone guidance during office hours regarding the technical requirements.
- Support for modern web browsers (recommended: Edge or Chrome).
- The browser must be updated to the latest version and support secure connections.
- Firewalls or proxy settings must be configured so that port 443 is open.

To connect to the portal, a Citrix plugin is required. Region Uppsala recommends the following:
Citrix Workspace App 24.2.xx - Cosmic does not support Swedish characters in the computer name (å, ä, ö). If this applies, change the computer name on the local device.
